Directions

Via M 4:

Take Exit 13 (Newbury) and go South on the A 34. Take the 2nd exit after the Services entrance (about ½ mile) which is the A 339 to NEWBURY.

Stay on this road through the town and 4 sets of roundabouts. Keep on this road, up a hill to another round about and straight on down a hill passing St. Gabriels School on your left. At the bottom of the hill you reach the final round about which goes east to Basingstoke or South to Winchester.

Go South – the B 4640 but not signed yet – in the direction of WINCHESTER. After 50 metres TURN LEFT immediately before the Swan Pub, sign posted to BURGHCLERE.

Follow the road around the pub and up the hill for about ¼ of a mile. At the top of the hill there is a road to the left, signed JONATHON HILL. Please IGNORE THE TARMAC ROAD and take the unmade track ahead into the woods leaving the RED POST BOX on your left.

Follow the track down through the woods. DO NOT LOSE HEART. We are situated at the bottom of the track (approx. 300 metres).

From the South:

From the A 34 travelling north, take the Tot Hill Services Exit and turn right over the by pass. Follow the signs for Newtown. When you see the Swan Pub on your right, go on to the roundabout that you will see in front of you and come back on yourself and TURN LEFT immediately before the Swan Pub, sign posted to BURGHCLERE.

Follow the track down through the woods. DO NOT LOSE HEART. We are situated at the bottom of the track (approx. 300 metres).
